HIGHLIGHTS FROM "MY JOURNEY" OF PERSONAL & SPIRITUAL GROWTH
In 1997 I left Seattle, Washington and traveled to Hawaii to learn Sports Massage at the Ironman Triathlon in Kona
I stayed for three years to study Holistic Therapies and Massage under Lynn Wind of the Hawaiian Islands School of Body Therapies, go through my own deep healing process and begin working in the Spa industry
In 2000 I left the US to connect deeper to myself, and explore the world and Humanity
I landed in Frankfurt, Germany and shortly thereafter began working in a Rehabilitation Center offering medical massage treatments for 20+ patients a day
I became fluent in German and eventually began to sound like a native speaker
I opened my first holistic healing clinic in Offenbach, Germany in late 2001 and expanded to a second location in Frankfurt, Germany a year later
2006 began a six year journey in the luxury hospitality industry developing and opening bespoke spa concepts, including the development of healing retreats, as well as the hiring and training therapists in diverse modalities & philosophies of healing
In 2006 I was awarded one of 8 top Spa managers worldwide by Spa-ing Magazine
2008-2009 I studied and was the translator for an intensive Group Leadership training program focused on intensive personal growth and development, how to lead groups through transformational processes, public speaking, and energy awareness
After nearly 10 years I left Europe and moved to Phuket, Thailand to work for Amanresorts, one of the world's most luxurious and exclusive resort companies
I further worked on the design of future spas for Aman in Brazil, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, Portugal, Greece, Montenegro, Turkey, Bali and Lijiang China
I led Spa Teams in 15 countries around the world including Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, India, Indonesia, United States, Philippines, UK, China and the Caribbean
In 2010 I co-created, and launched an all-natural skin care line for Amanresorts, rolling out an entirely new holistic spa treatment menu and training concept
In the Spring of 2011 I left the Corporate world and took an overdue break to meditate, rejuvenate and heal after six straight years of flying across time zones and living out of a suitcase
I left Thailand in November of 2011 after a month long trip to consult on a new wellness/ayurveda/medical retreat center concept in Dehradun, India
I moved to northern India for an additional four months of consulting on the project and then moved back to Seattle after 15 years of work and travel
