Stay focused this month and make choices that will take you closer to your longterm vision, rather than short term gratification.
Cultivating healthy new habits takes a desire to make a change and the commitment, support and will power to get there.
I sent this Self-Care Calendar out for the first time last month and love hearing the positive results people are getting from using this system to help stay focused on their vision and keep track of their progress! (If you missed that post, click here to read lasts months detailed instructions!)
So for this month really think about your longterm vision for your life… What does it look like? And how will you feel in that body, relationship, job or home?
Tune into what you are wanting to cultivate more of…is it more energy, mental clarity, greater inspiration, less stress, healthier relationships or your dream job? Or are you wanting to simply "get out of your own way?"
Think about your vision and choose a theme for the month of May (for example: focus, discipline, exercise, vitality, creativity, vibrant health, rejuvenation…).
Is there a habit or activity you are wanting to integrate into your daily life? This could be anything ranging from daily morning affirmations or meditation; exercising 30 minutes, releasing anger with a pillow and a plastic bat for 5 minutes (ask me if you want to know more about this!), juicing everyday, writing in your gratitude journal every night or tapping into your creative juices to connect to divine inspiration in your business (or your bedroom!). Relate your focus/habit to your longterm vision for your life and choose ONE to work with for the month of May.
Everyday you complete an activity related to your focus for the month you draw an X and hearts for every self-care, self-love, and self-nurturing activity you do… Watch your progress and build faith in your ability to create positive CHANGE in your life as you follow through with your commitments and take care of your #1 asset…YOU!
