"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase." #divineinspiration #mindbodybeing #radicalselfcare #imsayingyestome When I was 18 years old I had an "awakening" that tuned me into a deep inner knowing of where I was suppose to go and what steps to take next. There wasn't a special training I went through or formula I learned, I didn't read a book about it or hire a coach to teach me... It was through intense trials and trauma in my life that I knew there had to be a better way. Instinctively I knew that my life was destined for greatness and that my life experiences were there to teach and guide me to be able to be of Service to others and help them on their own journey through life. Tuning into my own inner wisdom and having enough faith to simply take the next step has guided me to live in various countries around the world; learn another language fluently, connect with teachers and mentors that would deepen my own healing and guide me to lead others to theirs, get hired into top executive positions in my industry straight out of the gate, create internationally known holistic healing concepts for luxury spas and eventually move back to the United States after a fifteen year journey of following that little voice within. My inner wisdom and faith continues to inspire me and guide me to where I am suppose to be, who I am suppose to meet and how I am being called to Serve. And even though I have been guided by faith for many years I still need a reminder to slow down and breathe, and take one step at a time... Being such a strong visionary I can see the "big picture" and highest potential or evolution of a project or person on their path. I can easily do this with the projects I am working on, unfortunately when it comes to my own stuff it tends to put me into a state of overwhelm. My deepest desire is to be of service and help to transform the pain and suffering of this world. There are many ways in which that can be expressed and I am constantly envisioning new branches of that desire. Because I have so many ideas and so many ways in which I feel called to be of service, I tend to take on too much at once and struggle with a feeling of overwhelm in the midst of creation.
When I came back from my week of being totally unplugged I quickly felt a familiar wave of overwhelm wash over me... So instead of allowing it to take me in, I stopped, took a deep breath and refocused back on the present and only the very next step. It takes practice to allow yourself to be guided by faith and even if you have a vision of where you are headed, to release any attachment to the outcome and trust that you will be guided to take the next step.
I would love to hear how this shows up in your life and would be happy to help guide you to your own inner wisdom and strength.
